SUMMER CAMP AUDITIONS 

World recognized dance company owner Karen Fuhrman- Heartsfield, will choreograph aerial and ground-based (various techniques of modern and jazz) pieces on your dancer. We are accepting exceptional talent ages ranging 10 to 15 & 16 to 22 years old

Audition: Sunday, March 29th

You will be treated like a valued professional and expected to engage as an artist and efficient
technician. This week is your chance to see how the professionals do it. Your voice as a dancer will be
developed and respected, and the work will be intense and empowering. In short, you’ll see if you got what it takes to thrive in the professional modern dance world. (age appropriate, of course!) At the end of the intensive week, we will showcase the pieces created at a beautiful outdoor venue in the woods of Perkiomenville. Full stage with lights, sound, and a giant bonfire! Cost for camp $275.00

Karen A. Fuhrman-Heartsfield has her M.A. from NYU. Performed for Pilobolus, the Oscars, Ellen Degeneres, Good Morning America, Conan O’ Brian, De La Guarda, MOMIX, VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards, Cavalia, and more. Grounded Aerial® has been commissioned by Microsoft’s worldwide launch, Company (Barcelona), Bidvest International (South Africa), Guatemala City World Cup, Skirball Theater (NYC), Spiderman release party, Usher, Hammerstein Ballroom, Kimmel Center, ESPN awards, Lincoln Center, America’s Got Talent, Studio 54, Sleep No More, multiple Off Broadway shows, NBC’s “I Can Do That” and the Broadway musical- Matilda. Mrs. Fuhrman-Heartsfield conceptualized an evening-length aerial show performed on the side of a 22-strory building for the Rochester Fringe Festival to an audience of 20,000 people.  Performing and teaching aerial globally, they now have completed a world-tour of 13 countries. Mrs. Fuhrman-Heartsfield has worked as an adjunct dance professor at De Sales University. Recently her work premiered at the Guggenheim Museum in ​NYC.​
