Karen Fuhrman
- A trained modern, ballet and jazz dancer with an M.A. from NYU, Karen now specializes in both ground and aerial choreography that utilizes harnesses and apparatus based movement. Currently, she is performing and teaching workshops with the renowned dance company Pilobolus, recently seen with 2007 Oscars Award Show.
- Other performance credits include Cavalia by Cirque du Soleil, De La Guarda (off-Broadway NYC), the MOMIX dance company.
- With Grounded Aerial, and through various showcases, music videos, and festivals, her work has been presented throughout the world. Her site-specific choreography has appeared in the Yerba Buena Choreographer's Festival in San Francisco, benefit events in Tahoe National Forest, Barcelona's Company y Company, as well as 19th century barns, post-modern cathedrals, northern California beaches, and New York City venues.
