Classes re-open this February!!!
New schedule for 2012:
Tuesday nights (starting on February 28th) 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Saturday afternoons (starting February 25th) 1:30pm to 3:00pm
Karen A. Fuhrman has been developing her personal codification of aerial dance for the last ten years. She has danced for companies such as Momix, Pilobolus, and the aerial off Broadway show, De La Guarda. She also received her M.A. in Dance Education from NYU. (prior teaching experience with colleges, universities, various workshops, national and international locations)
There will never be more than 10 aerial students in each class. Vocabulary includes harness and bungee work, adagio and allegro wall movement, and partnering with Grounded Aerial's varying apparatuses. Ms. Fuhrman combines her vast knowledge of dance and aerial work to emphasizes intense physical training, choreographic improvisation, and character investigation which will enable the mover to make strong choices, and enjoy the art of flight.
Requirements:Knee pads, sneakers, and the yearning to fly!

Rates:
First trial Class $25
Regular Drop-in $35
5 class card $150 ($30/class)
10 class card $280 ($28/class)
