Aerial Class Information
Grounded Aerial has taught workshops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City. Our classes are safe, supportive, and both physically and artistically challenging. Since each workshop has the maximum of 6 aerialists, we can tailor to each person's needs and vision. Our classes vary from the experienced dancer/aerialist, to the novice who simply wants to fly!
The basic progression of the class is as follows:
- Basic warm up (focusing on core awareness and upper body strength)
- Guided improvisation on the floor
- Character and movement exercises
- Aerial technique exercises and character development
- Improvisation that leads to set choreography
- Come play with us and experience the joy of flight!!
